Rusty is a great “touchy-feely” guy. He lets me know when he’s ready for petting. This happens quite a lot.

Special Petting By Auntie
My sister came over to visit, and made herself comfortable next to Patches. It was the first time Auntie was so close and she took advantage of the opportunity. Or, was it the other way around?

Good Idea
Rusty is a smart cat. That brain of his is always working. Sometimes he gets his tongue in on that action. It must really be an extra good idea this time.
Napping Expert
Patches knows how to nap well. She is the expert. She can teach younger cats how to do it because she is so experienced!
Napping on a soft cushion on the patio is just the right thing to do on this day.
Uh oh! I think I disturbed her. Her eyes are starting to open. I don’t want to have her lose her concentration.
Napping does take lots of concentration. I guess that’s one of the things she would teach kittens.
Mutual Grooming
Rusty and Romeo were very compatible. Grooming was an essential part of their daily routine.

Rusty was taking one of his naps in one of his favorite nap spots, and was oblivious to the lizard activity going on just above his head.
