Patches is a very patient girl. So sweet. She really wanted to lay down in the spot where Rusty made himself comfortable. So, she decided to take up the space next to Rusty. As soon as she did, Rusty left the rug.
I’m always surprised by their actions. One can never predict what they will do. That’s part of the allure of cats. They keep life interesting, for sure.

The rug is big enough for the two, but who knows what goes on in a cat’s mind? We can assume; however, assuming makes for interesting posting at times, doesn’t it?
We guess Rusty didn’t like the idea of sharing the rug.
Sharing is one of Rusty’s many attributes. Don’t know what could have made him leave the rug. The timing makes me assume he had something more important to attend to???
