Romeo’s Patio

 

One of the “daily morning procedures” we go through in our day-to-day lives is the impatient Romeo, waiting for Mom to open the patio door.  He runs in there to get his best “cat’s eye” view on his outer world.

I had my camera at the ready this time to capture one of our most important morning “procedures.”

Rusty’s Adventures in Petzone Country

There are times when I take out the Petzone toy and Rusty will show no interest.  TODAY WAS DIFFERENT!!

Darn it! That #$%&@ mouse got away again.

I give up. 😦

Patches Isn’t Too Happy Today

My poor girl had her teeth cleaned today – PLUS – removal of one of her few remaining ones.  She is one of those “lucky” felines who was born with a problem of poor teeth.  Don’t know why – it just started happening when she was much younger, and every 3 or so years, she has had to have one or two or even three(!) removed.

Needless to say, she doesn’t chew her kibble – she gums it and swallows it whole.  It’s no wonder  her stomach has problems on occasion.

Patches is very “touchy, feel-y” this evening – needs to be close for comfort.

Patches looks like she still has some anesthetic in her system. Eyes look kind of funny.

Cats And Computers

I’m on the computer every day, spending lots of time doing “my thing.”  And, many times, either Patches, Rusty or Romeo – or any combination thereof – will be keeping me company.

Today, I’m posting about two of my favorites – pussycats and computer – and show you what happens when the two are combined.

How can I learn with all this interruption?

I do believe this is a one-person keyboard!

Calling it quits. I got plumb tuckered out.

For some reason, everything looks upside down!

How come all I see is squiggly lines and odd shapes?

Mmmm. This is a great spot – good for chin scratches.

Wait! You were going to show me what to do with this keyboard.

I’m just warming up for my first computer lesson.

I do believe I’m starting to get the hang of this thing with all the buttons.

Whenever Rusty wants to be petted, he flops down wherever he might be and “assumes the position.”  What a guy!

 

Patches and Mom Kind Of Got Carried Away

Patches likes to approach me while she’s on the kitchen counter near my table.  She knows she will get lots of petting.  And she does!  And she PURRS!!  She is so lovable and sweet.

I kind of get carried away as I’m taking photos.  So, please just breeze through them.  I won’t be insulted – ha.
